Legends of the Black Wolf

Myths and Legends

We have collected many of the stories of our people, told for years around hearths and campfires, handed down from generation to generation. Here they are, preserved for the future, and for those now, who would like to better understand the people of the Black Wolf.

You could start at the beginning, where good stories often start, by reading about the origins of the Black Wolves, our founder and saviour, Meleki, and of how we came to be part of the Wolves.

Perhaps your would prefer to start with the Black Wolf himself, the core of our religious beliefs, and with whom our pack runs when we pass on from this life.

Or is it treasure you seek, your interest in the material things of this world? You'll be wanting to know more about the Axe, and to hear the tales of Belandra and the Four Treasures, or Trevell, the Last Bearer of Othlar, and the quest to recover it.

For the archivists and mapmakers, we have the legends of places in Svartheim such as Soular's Rest, and the people whose infamy is told of by those legends, including Largin the Red himself.

And lastly, for the bards and the skalds, we have the songs of our people, including A Black Wolf's Tale.
