Legends of the Black Wolf

Tun Du Meleki

Tun Du Meleki

Tun Du became Jonari and Meleki of the Black Wolves when Jonari Snogg Meleki relinquished the position. Quietly spoken, Tun Du led by example - but when he did speak, he did so in a profound and authoritive manner.

I was fortunate enough to know Tun Du not only as the leader of my people but as a close friend. We shared many (mis)adventures together and I was personally honoured when he gave away my late wife, Mia, at our wedding.

There are many versions told of the events that lead to his death, and I would like to set the record straight. This is the official and true account of what happened and any other version should be disregarded as false.

Heretics calling themselves the Covenant of Fenris sealed themselves in a ritual circle. Tun Du, as the leader of the true disciples of Fenris, offered up his life in sacrifice to the sister of Fenris - Hel, Mistress of Niflheim - in an attempt to break open the circle to the enraged Wolves assembled outside. This attempt failed, and Tun Du was revived by Dari.

Half a year passed, and the Warhost gathered in the ruins of Erness Marr. It was here that Hel made her presence felt, and demanded to be paid that which she was owed.

After much soul searching by all the Black Wolves, Tun Du declared that there was no other alternative and Hel must be paid what she had been promised. He spent the day in preperation, and although myself, the Black Wolves and Sigurd of the Church of Hel tried to find an alternative, Tun Du was ultimately proved correct as no other solution could be found.

So with Tun Du's nerve holding true whilst mine was on the verge of faltering, Bog of the Church of Hel and myself dispatched Tun Du to Niflheim - his debt to Hel paid in full.

Tun Du Meleki was a great man, a loyal and true Wolf, and the finest friend anyone could have. I am truly blessed by Fenris to have known him and called him friend. I now await the day when Tun Du and I will once again stand together, on the battlefields of Ragnarok.

PRAISE BE TO TUN DU MELEKI!
PRAISE BE TO FENRIS!
and PRAISE BE TO THE BLACK WOLVES!
