Tyv came to the warhost when he captured a goblin on Black Wolf lands. A ranger by trade, he wore no armour, he was known for his speed and cunning on the battlefield using hit and run tactics to deadly effect.
Tyv had had little interest in the religious aspects of the Black Wolves. This was a view he quickly changed when Djordic was spirited away by Fenris during a ritual in 1107. By 1109, Tyv's religious inclinations had changed so radically, that after months of training and dedication at the Temple of Fenris, Tyv took up the position of Tanathar, the religious leader of the Black Wolves.
Tyv's return to the warhost was welcomed by all; he is an imposing figure clad in both the mantle of Tanathar and chainmail, and few remember the quiet ranger he was when first he arrived.
